Securisk Solutions was founded in 2007 and has a proven track record of delivering
enterprise information security solutions and services. It was founded on the premise
that while many security consulting firms were offering security services to companies,
they still fell short of translating security findings in to what mattered most
to the business i.e., RISK. While IT staff were discussing "security measures",
what the business folks needed to know was "risk mitigation/transfer or acceptance
controls". When this translation from security to risk was not well understood,
the risk was more often than not "ignored". Additionally, with the onset of regulations
(SOX, PCI DSS, GLBA ...) and heightened focus on security, not only are the Fortune
500/1000 companies required to ensure that their security risks are controlled or
mitigated but this burden is falling on anyone dealing with commerce transactions
in this day and age.
